Due to changes in our resident ponies, the riding version of our Pony Play Dates is currently at capacity for 2024. We are dedicated to providing the best for our guests AND our residents. Our newer ponies need more time to train and acclimate to the program and we don't ever over work the ponies that are already providing this service. In order to make sure we are honoring our obligation to our ponies AND providing the best for our participants, we will not be accepting new RIDING play date requests at this time.

 

We DO offer a non riding version that allows children, adults and families to discover horses and ponies through a hands on session learning to groom and lead! This is a great opportunity to get involved and build skill and confidence.

Sometimes children (and adults) may be too timid and/or overwhelmed to be able to ride in one of our traditional play dates. These sessions can follow the lead of the child (or adult) and are designed to encourage them to be comfortable and confident around the animals at the farm. It is a great first step towards riding. Learn to groom, handle and lead a horse or pony through a series of obstacles and have fun! We do our best to maintain flexibility and provide encouragement and support to those exploring the barnyard!

This session is open to children as young as 5 all the way through ADULTS! In this session, you will get to learn to groom, handle and lead a horse or pony through a series of obstacles! This is a great way to come get a little more hands on and have a great time learning to handle a horse or pony hands on! If you have a child that may be too timid to ride, this is a great first step. Adults can join in this fun too!

THERE IS NO RIDING IN THIS PROGRAM.

During our UNICORN SEASON, there is even an option to dress your horse or pony up LIKE A UNICORN! This session can be individual or shared. There is an additional fee for the unicorn option of $10.

​

• Combined tour and intro to ponies $65 for single person (child or adult)

• Combined tour and intro to ponies $85 for 2 people (child, adult or adult/child combo)
